your outfit cost what GIRL?!?!

So, one of my favorite pastimes is going to Brunch with my friends!  Who can turn down Bottomless Mimosas and French Toast?!?!?  This day, we went to my fav Brunch spot, Castaway in Burbank for my oldest niece’s 26th birthday.

Aside from the food, the outfit is the next most important part of Brunch cause if you don’t get a cute photo then you should’ve just not gone right?

Weather in Cali can be one of 2 extremes at any given time so you have to be prepared so I rifled through my closet and put this blazer combo together.

First, I am a BLAZER GIRL!  They are so versatile and can be worn comfortably no matter what the weather.

I paired it with a bralette, baggy jeans that I distressed myself and a strappy heel to pull it all together.

Second, I am an avid THRIFTER!  You can find so many unique and staple items to add to your wardrobe.  Also, I sew and often hit the thrift stores to find things to revamp.   I don’t mind messing up a project piece I got from the thrift store $1.99 versus something I paid full price for in the mall.

Now that I’ve laid the foundation……would you believe it if I told you my outfit only set me back $10 with tax?!?!  To put things into perspective, my daily Starbucks order exceeds that!  I snagged the bralette for $2 on the clearance rack at Forever 21. The blazer was $4.99 and the jeans were $1.99 and were purchased from Salvation Army and Goodwill.

It’s not about what you spend but how you put it together!
